After the corona outbreak at Färjestadens högstadium at the beginning of the week, the school, together with the health center, has offered PCR tests to the slightly more than 200 school students.

It is about a self-test that the parents have had to pick up for the children and then return on Friday.

- Today there have been a lot of tests, says Gabriella Nilsson who works at Färjestadens health center.

Two transports with more than 80 tests have crossed the bridge during the day to be analyzed.

Students are expected to receive answers during the weekend so they know if it is safe to go back to school on Monday.

Voluntary to test oneself

The school has encouraged students to test themselves, however, it has been voluntary to do so.

And both tested and untested students may return to school on Monday.

The school will also not check test results but trust that the students take their responsibility.

- We want the guardians to tell us if it has been a positive result and we hope that everyone does, says Lena Rickardsson, principal at Färjestadens högstadium.
