"In just 8 months, the head of the government returned credit to his country, launched reforms and restored the authority of the state": writes Le Figaro next to a large photo of the prime minister, with the title "Italy: the Dragons revolution ".
In the following two pages, Le Figaro explains "How Draghi has restored luster to Italy": "Public accounts in the process of reorganization, reforms launched, a respected state ... the former patron of the ECB has left his mark".
At the opening of one of his articles, Le Figaro writes that "since Mario Draghi's arrival as Prime Minister last February, the outlook on Italy has clearly changed. Even better, his credit has been rehabilitated".
The newspaper continues its investigation of Draghi's Italy with an article entitled "Exceptional powers to accelerate large construction sites" and then concludes with "A new strong axis with Macron to relaunch Europe": "While the page is being turned Merkel - we read - the temptation could be to seek a new European balance based on a transalpine axis ".
