Nils Grönberg, known under the artist name Einár, was shot to death on Thursday night, 19 years old.

- I understand that he has meant a lot to many young people.

It is tragic that another life has been extinguished, says Stefan Löfven to SVT the day after the murder, when he is on his way to the summit in Brussels.

"Killer hunt in full swing"

Minister of Culture Amanda Lind (MP) also comments on the murder: “Terrible and unbelievably sad.

My thoughts are now with all relatives ", she writes in a comment to DN.

Minister of the Interior Mikael Damberg (S) says that the police's murder hunt is in full swing and that his thoughts are with the artist's family and everyone else who feels sad: “It is terrible.

A young person has been murdered in a brutal way ", he says in a comment to the news agency TT.

One of the Green Party's spokesmen, Minister of Housing Märta Svenevi, comments that he is not alone in falling victim to the deadly violence and that this violence must be stopped.

“Behind every headline is a family that has lost a child.

I am thinking today of all those who have lost a relative ", she writes on Twitter.

"Happened in a safe area"

Member of Parliament Linda Snecker (V) writes, like many others on Twitter, that her thoughts go to all relatives, and all mothers who mourn their children.

The Moderates' party secretary Gunnar Strömmer points out that Hammarby lake town - where Nils "Einár" Grönlund was shot dead - is one of Sweden's most prosperous and safe areas.

- I believe that, as close residents with both friends and relatives in that area, that everyone can experience that if it happens there, it can affect anyone and anywhere, he says to TT.
