The World Cup competition was moved from Värmland to Umeå due to lack of snow.

Over 70,000 spectators from all over the world visited the rally days in Värmland last year.

Now the organizers are looking for everything from apartments, holiday homes and rural farms to cover the need for housing before the big rally competition.

- It is a tough journey to move the rally and find housing, says Glenn Olsson.

"Almost impossible to get housing"

The Swedish rally works together with Visit Umeå to find accommodation for the spectators.

The pressure increases during January and the beginning of February as the competitions approach.

The Swedish rally is no stranger to the fact that you may have to look for housing outside Umeå and in the Skellefteå area

- The weeks before the rally, it is usually almost impossible to get housing, says Glenn Olsson, CEO of the Swedish rally.
