Every day, homeless people and other vulnerable people apply for the City Mission's day activities Porten in Örebro.

Many of those who come here also use the public toilets to seek protection, says Malin Toftgård.

- Based on what the guests themselves say, they often have nowhere to go, she says.

Ulrika about the proposal: "Crazy"

Ulrika Sundin has gone from Hallsberg to Örebro to seek help at the Gate.

Once there, she discovered that the business was closed due to illness.

-I was going here to get some food, says Ulrika Sundin.

She is one of those who has experience of being homeless, and states that she has been without her own permanent home for almost three years.

She thinks the municipality's toilet proposal is "crazy".

- I have slept in toilets quite a few times, she says.
