Russian President Vladimir Putin recently stated that Russia and China have not established any closed military bloc, nor will they have the goal of establishing such a bloc in the future.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference on October 22 that China highly appreciates President Putin's positive evaluation of Sino-Russian relations, "China and Russia are not allies, they are better than allies."
