The parties also considered the possibilities of strengthening international cooperation to end the ongoing hostilities.

Earlier, Guterres called on the world to help the Afghan economy with an injection of cash.

On October 4, seven UN staff members, who were declared persona non grata by the Ethiopian authorities, were removed from the country for security reasons.
