US President Joe Biden and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron discussed efforts to strengthen defense in Europe, the White House said Friday, during a phone conversation.
"President Biden looks forward to meeting President Macron later this month in Rome, where they will continue to discuss the many files related to French-American cooperation," the US presidency said in a statement.
