Karim Benzema will not see the home stretch of the ballot for the Golden Ball parasitized by a court decision.

The Versailles Criminal Court on Friday reserved its judgment in the so-called "sextape" case, namely an attempt to blackmail Mathieu Valbuena so that he pays in exchange for the non-broadcast of a video of his sexual antics.

The decision will be rendered on November 24.

In his indictment, the prosecution requested ten months suspended prison sentence and a 75,000 euro fine against the attacker of the Blues, who was absent from this trial, and sentences ranging from 18 months suspended prison to four years in prison for his co-defendants.
