A real wind of panic caused by ... workers who simply said their prayers before entering the establishment.

"Following the triggering of the intrusion alert within the Aturri college in the town of Saint-Pierre-d'Irube on Thursday morning, an investigation of flagrance was opened by the Bayonne public prosecutor's office" indicates this Friday the prosecutor of the République Jérôme Bourrier in a press release.

The investigations “made it possible to identify and hear the individuals designated by several witnesses and likely to have engaged in their religious rite in the parking lot located in front of the college, before entering the establishment.

"

"None of them entered the school illegally"

This scene motivated the triggering of the alert, causing the confinement of students in the college for part of the day, and the significant deployment of law enforcement, including demining services.

"It now appears established that these three people have no criminal record and are unknown to the intelligence services," continues the public prosecutor.

If two of them practiced their morning prayers after having parked their vehicle in the parking lot, it is shown that none of them entered the establishment illegally, contrary to the initial testimonies that motivated the operation to secure the premises.

"

"No criminal offense is in this case constituted" concludes the Bayonne prosecution.
