AFP reported on the 22nd (local time) that American actor Alec Baldwin (63) was shot and killed by a prop gun fired while filming a movie.
Baldwin is said to have fired a small gun while filming a movie called 'Rust', a western film set in New Mexico in the 19th century.
One female cinematographer was killed and the director was injured in the accident.
U.S. law enforcement is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
