Acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Chupriyan flies to the Ryazan region, where there was a fire in the powder shop

"In order to coordinate the forces and means to eliminate the emergency, the acting head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Alexander Chupriyan, is flying to the Shilovsky district of the Ryazan region," RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the ministry.

According to preliminary data, 16 people died in an explosion at a gunpowder factory near Ryazan.

There were 17 people in the shop at the time of the incident.
