His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, confirmed that the journey of communicating creative minds started from Expo 2020 Dubai in order to create a promising and prosperous future for future generations, noting that the international event is the first of its kind in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia creates promising opportunities for strengthening international partnerships and developing prospects for fruitful cooperation among the countries of the world.

This came during the visit of His Highness to the headquarters of "Expo 2020 Dubai", which included a number of pavilions of the countries participating in the international event, where His Highness began his tour by visiting the British pavilion in the "Opportunities" area, whose design was inspired by the "Breakthrough Message" project of the international professor. The late Stephen Hawking.

His Highness was introduced to the pavilion's content, which bears the slogan "Innovation for a Common Future", which embodies the UK's keenness to enhance cooperation with other countries in order to find solutions to common global challenges.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the Ukraine pavilion, which is located in the Opportunity Zone and bears the slogan "Smart Ukraine... Connect the Dots".

He was briefed on the design of the pavilion building, which includes three main areas, including smart life, smart thinking and smart sense, with the aim of highlighting how ideas and innovations can help build a better future for all.

His Highness was also briefed on the inventions included in the pavilion, such as the electric bike that can travel 380 km without the need to recharge the battery, and solar blinds that generate energy, to showcase the spirit of innovation in Ukraine, as well as highlight its culture, heritage and the lives of its people.

He visited the pavilion of the Republic of France, which is located in the "mobility" area and bears the slogan "Light is the source of inspiration", in reference to France's role in leading the enlightenment movement and making the future of humanity.

His Highness was introduced to the contents of the pavilion, which highlights the unique French innovations and creations in all fields of science, research, technology, arts and crafts and education.

He was also briefed on the Notre Dame de Paris experience offered to visitors by the pavilion, which is an interactive exhibition on the cathedral's 850-year history.

The exhibition provides visitors with a trip to learn about the construction phase of the cathedral in the Middle Ages, its place in religious and cultural life, as well as the restoration work it is currently undergoing following the damage to the building listed on the World Heritage List as a result of a fire in April 2019.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan's tour included a visit to the Thailand pavilion, which is located in the "mobility" area.

His Highness learned about the content of the pavilion, which is the largest in the history of Thailand's participation in World Expos, about 150 years ago.

Through it, Thailand aims to highlight the concept behind “Digital Thailand” or “Digital Thailand,” as well as its technologically driven economic vision.

His Highness was briefed on the design of the pavilion, which was inspired by the elements of Thai hospitality, using the flower "Dok Rak" (the flower of fortune), which symbolizes the warm hospitality offered by the Thai people to its visitors, and the country's continuous quest for development.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during his visit to the Belgium Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, learned about the content of the pavilion, which was built on an area of ​​500 square meters, and provides a glimpse into the future of mobility technologies in Belgium.

He was briefed on the technical innovations displayed in the pavilion within an interactive environment, enabling visitors to get to know the “Belgium of the Future” in an optimal way.

 Technical cooperation between the UAE and Guyana

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Mohamed Irfan Ali, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of technical cooperation between the two countries.

The memorandum was signed by Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem bint Ibrahim Al-Hashimi, and Minister of Finance of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Ashnee Singh.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the President of the Republic of Guyana and the accompanying delegation, stressing keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the UAE and Guyana and to develop cooperation in many fields.

During the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Forces Armed Forces, and their wishes for progress and prosperity to the Republic of Guyana.
