At the trial of the attacks of November 13, 2015, the court is still hearing the civil parties.

This is the fourth week of testimony.

After the survivors of the Bataclan, it is now up to the relatives of the victims to speak out.

This Thursday, October 21, Aurélie came to tell the bar how that evening, at the age of 34, she lost her great love, the father of her 3-year-old little boy and the little girl with whom she was then pregnant.

She also told about their life without Matthew.

Matthieu, “it

was my house,

” says Aurélie in a soft voice.

When he dies, they've been together for 15 years.

They have a baby boy and are expecting their second child.

Today Gary is 9 years old, Thelma 5 years old.

They grow up without their father, but they are doing well, says Aurélie.

Gary was immediately "

went into mourning

."

On the evening of November 14, he made a list of everything he could no longer do with his father: eat kiwis, climb on his shoulders, play football ... Gary forces Aurélie to move forward, one day after the other.

He becomes "

the shepherd of the flock of my sorrows

 ".

The “survivor's responsibility”

Then comes Thelma. "

That night, rises in me the certainty that we will be happy. I know I have it in Matthew

, "says Aurelie. It is not the guilt, but the “

survivor responsibility

 ” that she feels. “

I'm not always a funny mom. But my children know that I am there, solid.

Sometimes in her room, Thelma whispers "

daddy

". She thinks we all meet up after death, continues Aurélie. So she waits.

Every evening, returning from the trial, the young woman tells her children about the beautiful things that are happening there.

These people who embrace each other, these civil parties who give food to the accused one evening when the hearing drags on, or even this brother who protected his sister at the Bataclan.

Every day I filled my humanity tanks here

 ," says Aurélie smiling.
