“All manifestations of ethnic arrogance, no matter who they come from, discrimination on any grounds, attempts to undermine public order and internal stability on this basis should be strictly suppressed, in accordance with the law,” he said at a meeting of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

Tokayev stressed that zero tolerance for ethnic conflicts "should become the norm for the internal affairs bodies and the prosecutor's office."

In addition, he called on the Kazakh authorities not to limit citizens to one language.
