- Cooperation with Finland is a priority.

In Visby, among other things, the Finnish training aircraft Hawk will be marked as well as their F18, says the air force's communications manager Louise Levin.

The Finnish planes are integrated in the Swedish Air Force and the Swedish in the Finnish Defense.

Around the clock

- We participated in the Finns' corresponding exercise a few weeks ago.

The exercises' primary target group is the air force command, and since the training takes place around the clock, the defense has both advertised in the press and distributed 110,000 information leaflets.

Jas 39 Gripen, transport and special aircraft as well as helicopters participate in LFÖ 21. Some civilian airports may also be used.

If Bråvalla, outside Norrköping, is to be used, Louise Levin, on the other hand, could not answer.

To seas

The marine exercise, Swenex-21, takes place October 18-28 and will partly affect the archipelago in Östergötland.

However, most ship traffic will move further out to sea.

- It will be deminers who search for trails.

Then it can happen that bunkering takes place in the Östgötaskärgården, says Michela Linge, communications manager at Sjöstridsskolan.

"Moor well"

The Navy exercises with 20 ships;

corvettes, demining vessels, support vessels and submarines together with battleships and patrol boats.

Finland participates with eight vessels and the Coast Guard with three vessels.

- There may be waves from passing warships.

You should have moored your boat well.

If approaching ships with divers and / or equipment in the water, keep a safe distance and reduce speed.
