The imprisoned Russian opponent Alexeï Navalny said Thursday he was “honored” to have received the 2021 Sakharov Prize awarded by the European Parliament, announcing that it was dedicated to all “anti-corruption fighters”.

"I dedicate my prize to anti-corruption fighters of all kinds around the world: from journalists to lawyers, politicians (there are some yes) to deputies and to those who take to the streets to support this fight" , he said on his Twitter account.
