I have for some time had a dialogue with Peter about the future and we have jointly come to the conclusion that we are now going our separate ways.

New organization is emerging
In his role as general manager, Peter Ekelund has been responsible for youth, juniors and women.
Until the new organization in the club is ready, the club director Johan Lindblom will take over responsibility for this as well.
Peter Ekelund was hired as general manager in 2015 and has before that made 663 matches in the HV shirt as a player.
- HV71 will always have a big place in my heart and I am proud to have been a part of this organization both as a player and as an employee.
Of course, I will follow our youth, juniors and women's teams in the future.
And not least, I wish our men's team all the best on their journey back to the SHL, says Peter Ekelund.
