The four are accused of group sexual violence: on July 17, 2019, according to the Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office, they allegedly raped an Italian-Norwegian student, who was 19, after an evening spent at a disco in the house where friends were spending their holidays. in Costa Smeralda.
For the chief prosecutor Gregorio Capasso and the substitute Laura Bassani (in the meantime transferred), her friends would have forced her to drink and then they would have abused her several times. At the first preliminary hearing, judge Caterina Interlandi had invited the lawyers to indicate by 20 October the possible alternative rite chosen and any relevant evidence. Defense lawyers Enrico Grillo, Sandro Vaccaro, Gennaro Velle, Ernesto Monteverde and Mariano Mameli will officially communicate the choice of the ordinary rite to the judge on Monday, having not found it in recent days.
They risk penalties of up to 12 years, without the discount of a third party as provided for by the abbreviation.
The girl had told the investigators that she was forced to drink vodka, then raped first by Corsiglia alone and later also by the other three, met a few hours earlier in the Billionaire nightclub. The case, after a period of silence, had erupted again last spring after Beppe Grillo had published a video in defense of his son on his blog, sparking numerous controversies.
The comedian had reiterated the line of defense, namely that the reports had been consenting.
Even young people have always maintained that the girl was consenting and that there would be no abuse.

The next hearings before the judge are scheduled for November 5 and 12 during which the lawyers will ask for an acquittal while the prosecutor will insist on indictment.
