Drones and missiles bombed a US base in Syria

Sources in the Syrian opposition revealed that a US base was subjected to air strikes yesterday evening, Wednesday, in the Al-Tanf area on the Syrian-Iraqi border.

The sources confirmed to the German news agency (dpa), "The headquarters of the Revolutionary Commando Army of the Free Syrian Army were bombed in the 55 area on the outskirts of the American Al-Tanf base by Iranian drones launched from the Al-Tanf desert area and others from inside the Iraqi border, then the base was attacked The United States bombed with three missiles.

The sources added that "the bombing resulted in material damage only after warnings from the American forces to the Maghawir Al-Thawra Army to evacuate the headquarters, and American drones began combing the border areas."

American forces are deployed at Al-Tanf base, which is a border center between Syria and Iraq in the eastern countryside of Homs, to monitor the border and prevent the entry of Iraqi forces loyal to the Syrian government.

It is located west of the Al-Tanf base, the 55 area where the Maghawir Al-Thawra forces are deployed, close to the Rukban camp.
