October 21, 2021Camilla Canepa, the 18-year-old student from Sestri Levante, who died last June at the San Martino hospital in Genoa after being vaccinated with Astrazeneca on an open day, "had

no previous pathology

and had not taken any drugs".

Death from thrombosis "is reasonably to be referred to an adverse effect from administration of the anti Covid vaccine". The medical examiner Luca Tajana and the hematologist Franco Piovella write this in the report filed with the prosecutor to the prosecutors who investigate the case. The girl was healthy, they point out, and the medical history form was filled out correctly as was the vaccine administration.

Camilla had been vaccinated on May 25 and felt ill on June 3: she was taken to the Lavagna hospital where she was found to have thrombocytopenia and photosensitivity. She was discharged, however, after a non-contrast scan, and returned to the same hospital on the 5th in desperate conditions due to a cavernous sinus thrombosis. She was transferred to the San Martino Polyclinic in Genoa and had an operation on her head, she died on 10 June and the parents, who had always claimed that their daughter had no pathologies and did not take drugs, authorized the removal of the organs.

" At the first hospitalization - the doctors write - the reaction to the vaccine was already underway and could be interpreted as such but in that context and in that historical phase there was still little talk of it and a correlation was not so easy to guess ".

"The story deserves further investigation - underlines the lawyer Angelo Paone who assists the family -. It has finally been clarified that the girl had no pathologies and did not take medicines. We reserve any further information with our consultant. However, we can observe from now on. that in reality the problem of contraindications on that age group had already been highlighted in the report number 17 of the technical-scientific committee which said how it was not recommended for people under 60 years. Also with regard to Lavagna it must be said that Camilla the 3 is was discharged with the platelets continuing to descend ".
