The Arab coalition announced late yesterday evening, the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards the Jazan region in southern Saudi Arabia.

This follows the statement of the UN Security Council, in which it condemned the militia attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially Abha Airport, and carried them to the safety of international navigation in the Red Sea, reminding them of their responsibility for the Safer tank, and warning them of the danger of not maintaining it.

In a statement, the Council supported the Saudi initiative for a solution in Yemen, and called on the Yemeni parties to implement the Riyadh Agreement and the return of the Yemeni government to Aden, and the importance of its support in providing services to Yemenis.

The Council expressed its concern over the faltering peace efforts in Yemen, and demanded support for the efforts of the new UN envoy, an immediate ceasefire, a reduction in the escalation in Marib and the lifting of the siege on Abdiya.

On the ground, the tribes of Ma'rib, backed by units of the army forces with nationalistic orientations, were able to thwart the attempts to advance by the Houthi militia on the western and southern fronts of the governorate, and inflicted heavy losses on them, according to field sources, confirming that the Houthi attack on the village of Naga in the vicinity of Murad Mountain, south of the governorate, was repelled.

The tribes also carried out a tight ambush for the Houthis on the Al-Kasara front, west of Marib, leaving dead and wounded among its members, as well as destroying three vehicles and other damage, while field sources confirmed the killing of the Houthi leader Ibrahim Hammoud Al-Khalid, the leader of the recent battles in the region, along with the leader Samir. Abdul Latif Al Karimi, and Major Asaad Muhammad Hussein.

The militias continued to abuse the sons of Al-Abdiyyah and kidnapped more than 500 civilians, including children. They also continued to tighten the noose around the residents of Al-Juba District and cut off all roads leading to the district.

In Shabwa, local sources confirmed that the governorate’s tribes and political entities announced the mobilization to confront the Houthi militia, after the theatrical and treachery practiced by leaders in the Islah party that control the local authority, in the process of handing over five directorates to the Houthis, and carrying out fake combat operations to cover up that betrayal as described. .

In Al-Jawf, the Houthi militia pushed new reinforcements towards the Al-Alam front, which came out of the Al-Ghail region and the city of Al-Hazm, while the battles between the two sides continue on the fronts east of Al-Hazm and the vicinity of Al-Labanat camp, with great support from the coalition fighters for the army and the tribes.

In Al-Dhalea, the joint and southern forces continued to carry out pre-emptive military operations against the Houthi militia in the Al-Fakher sector - northwest of the governorate, which led to the destruction of Houthi combat mechanisms and the killing and wounding of many elements of the coup.

In Hodeidah, the joint forces extinguished the Houthi militia’s fire sources in separate contact areas, targeting civilians and civilian objects in the south of the governorate, as they destroyed artillery and mortar dens and medium weapons for the militias east of the city of Hodeidah, the vicinity of Al-Fazah and Al-Jabaliya in Al-Tuhayta, north-east of the city of Hais, and the vicinity of Al-Durayhimi.
