It was tips from the public about the shooting that led the police to Närlunda.

There, a badly injured man in his 20s was found near a viaduct in the area.

Now he has died from his injuries.

On the night before Wednesday, the man who had previously been arrested in his absence was arrested.

He is also in his 20s and lives in the same small town in northwestern Skåne as the now deceased.

- He will now be questioned during the day and possibly there may be a question of arrest tomorrow, says Mattias Nildén who is investigating the murder.

Be probably familiar

Both men are already known to the police and were probably acquainted with each other.

- We will now take a closer look at their background.

But they probably sued each other for some sort of settlement.

It could be unpaid debts or that the now deceased man sold drugs in the wrong place, says Mattias Nildén.

Has good evidence

Mattias Nildén believes that the crime will be solved.

He says that the police have good evidence but do not want to go into details.

- We'll probably solve this.

Right now we are working on connecting the findings and clues that you found at the scene of the shooting and see if they can be connected to the arrested man.
