Sobchak was warned about the inadmissibility of disclosing the data of the preliminary investigation.

“However, Ksenia Sobchak refused to sign the relevant procedural document, and the witness’s lawyer in his office tried to take unauthorized photographs, including the documents on the desktop,” the ministry said.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Sobchak said that she was injured in an accident and went to a medical facility.

“The witness stated that she did not have medical documents with her on the initial examination after the accident and explained that if a decision was made to appoint a forensic medical examination, she would refuse to get acquainted with him,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

The ministry clarified that after the interrogation of all the witnesses to establish the circumstances that have evidentiary value for the criminal case, further investigative actions will be carried out with them.

The report says that Sobchak was warned that in case of evasion from appearing before the investigator, procedural coercion measures would be taken against her.

Earlier, Sobchak said that she flew for interrogation in Sochi as part of a criminal case about a car accident in which one person died and two were injured.

On October 9, a Mercedes car, in which Sobchak was in the passenger seat, had an accident in the Krasnodar Territory.

According to preliminary information, the driver of the Mercedes car, when overtaking, drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Volkswagen, which then collided with a minibus by inertia.

As a result of the road accident, one person died, two received injuries of varying severity.

The Mercedes driver was charged and placed under house arrest.
