"The Yakutsk Investigation Department for Transport of the Eastern Interregional SUT of the Investigative Committee of Russia is conducting a pre-investigation check on the fact of the incident with the Bombardier Q-300 aircraft," the message says.
According to the investigation, during the flight on the Srednekolymsk-Pevek route, the oil pressure drop sensor in the right engine worked on the plane.
The plane returned to the departure airfield in Srednekolymsk.
On board the aircraft were 6 crew members and 44 passengers.
Earlier it became known that the plane flying to Chukotka was forced to land in Yakutia.
