"Establish non-working days from October 30 to November 7, 2021 inclusive, with the preservation of wages for employees," the presidential decree says.

It is noted that the corresponding decision was made to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, during the meeting, proposed to the head of state to introduce a non-working day regime throughout the country from October 30 to November 7 due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus.

Putin agreed to the proposal.

He stressed that the salaries of workers on non-working days should be preserved.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, the introduction of non-working days can cost businesses about 60 billion rubles.
