International Writers Meet at Sharjah International Book Fair

The Sharjah International Book Fair, in its 40th session, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority from the third to the 13th of next November, at the Expo Center Sharjah, brings together a group of international writers and writers, led by the Tanzanian writer and novelist, Abdul Razzaq Garnah, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2021 .

Participating in the exhibition is the young girl Yitanjali Rao, a young inventor, innovative scientist and creative author who supports the principle of "STEM" or science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the exhibition activities will be hosted by the American novelist and writer Kathleen Altrim, author of the novel "A crime punishable by death", and Michael Andrelli, author of And the publisher of a best-selling book.

This year's edition of the fair will host the British writer of Ugandan origin, Jennifer Nansuboga Makumbi, the novelist and short story writer, and she will be joined by the UK writer Karen Millie James.

UK guests also include Rabina Khan, writer, politician, private consultant and broadcaster, Candice Carty Williams, bestselling author of The Queen, the Empress and Anya, and The People's Man, and award-winning journalist Mihir Bose, International, broadcaster, and author of the book "The Nine Waves", along with writer B.A.

From France, Saad Bouri, founder of the publishing house “De Jasmann” and author of a collection of traditional tales in Arabic and French, in addition to writer Hans Lemmon, a poet, playwright, novelist and lecturer, in addition to the French writer Isabelle Lemarie.

Participating from France is Mohamed Moleshul, better known as Yasmina Khadra, who has authored more than 20 novels and whose works have been translated into 52 languages ​​and turned into films and plays.

The exhibition welcomes two guests representing Italy, writer Lisa Ginsburg, author of a number of novels, as well as award-winning novelist Donatella di Petrantonio.

Entrepreneur, speaker and writer, Swadi Martin, author of the book “Where Beauty Blooms, I Am With You,” is a guest at the Sharjah International Book Fair. He is considered one of the most important writers of his generation, and writer Yvonne Adiambo Auwar, recipient of the 2003 Kane Prize for African Writing, which reviews the literary experience of East Africa through her latest novel “The Dragonfly Sea.” Among the literary figures participating in the exhibition, the Russian doctor and academic Vitaly Naumkin, the author of more than 600 publications, has served as a senior political advisor to the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria since 2016.
