On October 18, local time, the Israel Antiquities Agency stated that an amateur diver found a sword on the northern coast of Israel, about 900 years old, and the diver gave the sword to the Antiquities Agency.
According to reports, this ancient sword is covered with a large number of marine life. The blade is about one meter long and the hilt is 30 cm.
The Israel Antiquities Administration stated that the sword may be made of iron. After cleaning and analysis, the sword will be publicly displayed.
