“We agreed to work out a roadmap for the implementation of the provisions of the framework agreement signed in Washington on the strategic foundations of a defense partnership,” Taran said during a briefing broadcast by the Ukrainian defense department.

According to the minister, he discussed with Austin the most critical projects to develop the fundamental capabilities of the Armed Forces, which are important for ensuring the country's defense on land, in the air, at sea and in cyberspace.

US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin earlier announced his arrival in Kiev on a working visit.

During the visit, he intends to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
