Three rifles and 300 ammunition seized from a suspected trafficker in Toulon

A suspected dealer was arrested on the evening of this Sunday in Toulon (Var).

A search was therefore carried out on the man suspected of drug trafficking.

The police discovered three rifles there, one of which was fitted with a silencer.

Police also seized two magazines and 300 ammunition of various calibers.

400 euros in cash were also found.

Illegal possession of arms and ammunition

According to our colleagues, the suspect should be prosecuted for breaches of weapons legislation, namely illegal possession of weapons and category B and C ammunition.

At the beginning of October, a real arsenal of war had been discovered in Marseille during a banal control operation.

The police had got their hands on two rocket launchers, ballistic helmets, blocks of explosives, hundreds of ammunition, half a dozen bullet-proof vests and “Ministry of the Interior” clothing.
