"I can not let you do this to other people and especially not to yourself."

The message was sent to the 15-year-old boy from Eslöv on 27 July.

He had shared his criminal plan and manifesto to his online friend "Jack" on a chat forum.

Although, as described in the interview with the boy, they had similar political views, Jack did not want him to commit any act.

Friends around the world

The preliminary investigation maps several of the 15-year-old's online friends who turn out to be scattered around the world.

They have found each other on various right-wing extremist online forums, through mutual acquaintances and through various online games.

Several of them receive a special thank you in the 15-year-old's document where he describes why he should commit the act.

"Sent pictures of weapons"

When Jack gets to take part in the criminal plan, he writes to "John", one of the 15-year-old's friends who lives in Skåne.

Jack explains that he needs to tell something secret and tells about the plans.

From the police interrogations with John:

- He wrote that

XXX

was planning a school attack.

I asked if he had any evidence.

Then he sent pictures of weapons, vests and helmets.

He also sent the file with

XXX's

plan, says John in interrogation.

They discuss how to deal with it and are both worried that the 15-year-old will take it the wrong way.

"I do not want him to get angry, but I do not want him to do this and die," Jack wrote in the chat conversation.

"I felt guilty"

Finally, Jack writes to the 15-year-old and tells him not to do it.

The 15-year-old says that Jack is not a true friend and that he has made it all worse through his message.

John contacts a person who knows the 15-year-old, but he does not call the police.

- I did not think he would do it as he has a good family.

I felt guilty and wondered how I would stop it.

Three weeks later, the boy entered the school armed with a knife and weapons.

Jack and John are actually called something else.
