When was the crime discovered?

There is great secrecy surrounding the case with regard to the young age of those involved and therefore we do not know when the first police report was made.

On the other hand, we know that a request for the appointment of a plaintiff's counsel was made on 4 June for one of the victims.

A plaintiff's counsel shall safeguard the interests of the victim and provide legal assistance.

A couple of weeks later, on June 17, the suspected perpetrator receives a public defender.

Prosecution will be brought on October 11.

So many victims

In the indictment brought against the former sports leader, there are ten plaintiffs (crime victims).

Everyone must have been exposed to some type of sexual crime, one of which is classified as child rape.

All victims must have been under 18 years of age when the crimes occurred, some under 15 years of age.

The suspect denies the crime.

  • Rape of children

  • Sexual abuse

  • Purchase of sexual act by children (two points)

  • Attempts to purchase sexual acts from children

  • Attempts to exploit children by purchasing a sexual act (eight points)

  • Exploitation of children through the purchase of sexual acts

  • Exploitation of children for sexual posing (two points)

  • Attempts to exploit children for sexual posing

  • Sexual harassment (four points)

  • Serious child pornography crime (a total of 938 films and pictures with child pornographic content, a large part of which is described as "particularly ruthless / gross abusive material")

  • Attempts at blackmail (two points)

  • Abuse in court (to get one of the victims not to report)

He has worked there

In addition to his connection to a sports association in Medelpad, the sports leader has also been employed at two schools in Sundsvall municipality.

A municipal school in Sundsvall to and from between the years 2014 and 2021 when the man left at his own request.

The person has also been employed at a free school in the Sundsvall area.

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service's personal investigation shows that the suspect has not been previously punished, and lives in orderly conditions with work and housing.
