October 19, 2021 The National Epidemic Intelligence Network against the risk of pandemics becomes operational, to early identify and monitor unexpected disease events that could constitute an international public health emergency.
The Ministry of Health has in fact issued the circular that provides operational guidelines for the implementation of event-based surveillance at the national level.
The Network is made up of analysts trained and certified by the ISS and the Ministry, designated by the representatives of the public health services (Ministry of Health, ISS, Regions / PA, ASL, IRCCS, etc.) on the national territory.
