19 October 2021 European stock exchanges review the plus sign, after yesterday's decline, even if the increases at the start are limited: in Milan + 0.09% for the Ftse Mib index.

In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt + 0.03%;

after a slightly upward start, London (-0.05%) and Paris (-0.09%) are just below par.

Yesterday the decline was due to the slowdown in Chinese GDP, which rose by only 4.9% in the third quarter, less than expected.

And the surprise contraction of industrial production in the United States, -1.3% in September compared to August.

A trend reversal occurred yesterday in New York thanks to the rise of some technology stocks (Nasdaq + 0.84%): Apple, which presented some new products, but also Facebook, Netflix and Tesla, which will present this week the quarterly accounts.

The tech sector is also a protagonist in Asia during the night, especially in Hong Kong; + 5.6% in particular for Xiaomi, which announced that it will produce its own electric car from the first half of 2024.

On the subject of technology today from 15.30 Italian hours there will also be the debut of the first ETF linked to Bitcoin: it is a tool that replicates the trend of cryptocurrency futures. And the first authorized by the SEC, the control authority of the American markets.

Meanwhile, in Piazza Affari, greater increases for Enel (+ 1.4%) and Prysmian (+ 0.9%).

Greater reductions for Intesa Sanpaolo (-1%) and Banca Mediolanum (-1.55%).
