The Ministry of Community Development announced the issuance of cards for people of determination immediately after their expiration, and delivered to their owners in their homes, including citizens and residents, without having to submit any electronic requests or through customer service centers, in a step that aims to provide more services provided to them during the coming stages.

The Director of the Department of Care and Rehabilitation of People of Determination in the Ministry, Wafaa Hamad bin Suleiman, told "Emirates Today" that the ministry worked with its strategic partners in various sectors and government agencies to be able to complete the electronic link required to enable the ministry to access all data and information related to people of determination, which In light of it, the card can be renewed without the need for the holder to submit any documents or requests to obtain it.

Bin Suleiman stated that the People of Determination card has become linked to the Emirates ID card, which allows verifying all information, especially related to the presence of people of determination alive and whether they are also inside or outside the country, and other data.

Regarding the latest statistical data on the number of people registered in the Ministry's People of Determination card system, Bin Suleiman indicated that it is currently close to 28 thousand, including citizens and residents of various categories of disabilities.

She pointed out that providing the People of Determination card automatically and on time, according to the information stored in the ministry's electronic system, is part of the ministry's efforts to make the government's plans to provide government services a success without the customer having to enter into a series of procedures, and to ensure that he receives the required services in The right time and without making any effort, especially for people of determination, some of whom may need help from another individual to complete their transactions.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Community Development held last June the third meeting of the Higher Committee for People of Determination Services, which dealt with supporting the inclusive education policy, and following up on the developments of the “People of Determination” programs in light of the fifty-year plan, according to indicators that enhance the efforts of the concerned authorities at the state level to rehabilitate, integrate and empower people of determination. During the meeting, representatives of the relevant ministries, departments and bodies presented the developments of the inclusive education policy in the Ministry of Education within the framework of recommending the completion and adoption of the policy as it relates to the urgent needs of people of determination.
