Milan 19 October 2021 European stock exchanges remain weak less than two hours after closing.

Milan slightly up + 0.14%, Frankfurt does a little better, while London and Paris are negative.

Among the sectors, energy was good and in particular Enel, better than the Ftse Mib list with a + 2.14%, driven by rumors about the Spanish government's intention to cut taxes on energy suppliers (including its subsidiary Endesa) introduced to offset the expensive bills.



A positive start for Wall Street, with the Dow Jones index at + 0.24% and the Nasdaq at + 0.38%.

In particular, the increase of over 4% of Coinbase, a cryptocurrency trading company, on the day of the start of trading in the United States for the first derivative based on the trend of bitcoins, should be noted.



Meanwhile, the drop in the price of oil continues on the commodity markets, with Brent which, after the jump on Friday, is falling for the second session in a row and returns below 84 dollars a barrel.

The price of natural gas is also confirmed to be in decline, now steadily below $ 5 per million thermal units, more than 12% less than last Thursday's peak.
