“It is expected that our president will leave for a one-day visit to Azerbaijan on October 26,” RIA Novosti reports, citing data from the Turkish leader’s administration.
The program and purposes of the visit were not specified.
In June, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed a declaration on allied relations between the two countries in Shusha.
Later, Erdogan noted that he does not exclude the possibility of creating a Turkish military base in Azerbaijan.
