The so-called 'Daejang-dong National Audit' is held today (18th).

The National Assembly's Administrative Safety Committee conducts a national inspection for Gyeonggi-do, and Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung also attends as incumbent governor.

The ruling and opposition parties are battling each other over the 'Lee Jae-myung Gate' and the 'People's Power Gate' over conflicting claims, so a fierce battle is expected in today's National Assembly.

First, it seems that the core issue of today's National Audit will be focused on the astronomical excess profits generated during the Daejang-dong development project.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee said that he had recovered KRW 50.3 billion from the Daejang-dong development project for the public interest, and has been promoting it as the largest public interest restitution project since Dangun.

At the same time, he is likely to argue that the sharp increase in the profits of private companies such as Hwacheon Daewoo is due to an unexpected real estate boom, not a business design problem.

On the other hand, the power of the people is expected to intensify the offensive as it is impossible without preferential treatment, as revenues of KRW 1 trillion, twice the profits recovered by Seongnam City, flowed to private operators such as Hwacheon Daewoo.

It is expected that the ruling and opposition parties will clash over the people involved in the 'Daejang-dong development project'.

This is the so-called 'Lee Jae-myung Gate' versus the 'People's Power Gate' debate.

The Democratic Party has heard that the people discussed in the Hwacheon Daeyu controversy are mainly opposition figures such as Rep. Kwak Sang-do and former lawmaker Yu-cheol Yu, so the strategy is to define it as a 'People's Power Gate' and launch an attack.

In response, the People's Power is expected to launch a counterattack against Lee Dong-gyu, the former head of the planning division of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, who was imprisoned on charges of breach of trust and bribery.

Former general manager Yoo is accused of making private contractors take profits in excess of hundreds of billions of won by excluding the excess profit recovery clause, and causing damage to Seongnam City.

People's Power said, "Candidate Lee selected former head of the Seongnam Mayor, Yoo, as a working person to carry out the project.

A battle is unavoidable even over the reality of 'He', which appears in the transcript of accountant Jeong Young-hak, the owner of Cheonhwa-dongin No. 5.

In the transcript submitted to the prosecution by accountant Jeong Young-hak, one of the project designers, it is said that Kim Man-bae said, "Everyone knows that it is not mine, half of it belongs to him." .

However, the power of the people is raising suspicions that 'he' is actually Lee, saying that it is necessary to reveal who the owner of Cheonhwa Dongin is and how the dividend is distributed to whom.

In response, the Democratic Party and Candidate Lee countered that it was confirmed through the prosecution investigation that Lee was not related.

Earlier, Candidate Lee held an emergency press conference and announced that he would attend the National Assembly in person, contrary to the expectations of some that he would resign as the former governor.

Following today's National Assembly Administration Committee, the next day, the Land, Transport and Transport Committee will continue its national inspection for Gyeonggi-do.
