Security guards are now being trained in dealing with deadly violence

The purpose of the training is for the security guards to gain knowledge in leadership, damage-minimizing measures in various types of attacks, as well as handling mass injuries and crowd movements.

This is because security guards are often first on site in the event of a major incident.

- It feels natural to give them this education, partly to be able to protect themselves but above all to protect the public, says Security Councilor Erik Slottner (KD).
