Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on an African tour arrives this Tuesday, October 19 in Lomé.
Since the opening of the Turkish embassy in the Togolese capital last April, exchanges have accelerated at the official level.
Several subjects, including security and commerce, are on the table.

The Turkish and Togolese flags are displayed on the main arteries that the delegation will take.
The
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
who will spend a few hours in the Togolese capital initially, will meet face to face with Faure Gnassingbe.
They will address in particular the questions of economic cooperation, the financing of the industrial platform of Adéticopé located at the northern exit of Lomé.
They will also discuss the fight against terrorism.
In less than a year, several Togolese ministers, notably of Foreign Affairs, Security and that of the Armies, have successively stayed in Ankara.
Recently, there has been a significant strengthening of cooperation between Turkey and Togo.
From an economic standpoint, we had signed several agreements.
We are in the process of diversifying trade agreements with some of our traditional partners and the arrival of the Turkish president should make it possible to facilitate investment flows from Turkey to Togo.

Burkinabè and Liberian presidents present in Lomé
Several agreements are expected to be signed in the sectors of trade, agriculture, industry and defense.
Beyond the bilateral side, the Presidents of Burkina Faso, Roch-Marc Christian Kaboré, and Liberian, Georges Weah, are also announced this Tuesday in the Togolese capital.
They will join the discussions later.
