Algeria lifts night curfew after coronavirus cases drop

The Algerian government decided, on Monday, to lift the night curfew in the areas where it was imposed, after the decline in infections with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), according to a statement by the Prime Minister.

The statement stated that Prime Minister Ayman Abdel Rahman decided, "after consultations with the scientific committee to follow up on the development of the Corona pandemic," a set of measures aimed at "relieving the current apparatus of protection and prevention."

He added that the first of these measures is to "lift the partial home stone that is currently applied at the level of the twenty-three states concerned."
