Attorney Nam-wook, a key figure in the Daejang-dong development lobby and favoritism allegations, was arrested by the prosecution as soon as he arrived at Incheon International Airport around 5 am on the 18th.

Attorney Nam, who left for the United States just before Chuseok, has refused to respond to the prosecution's investigation on the grounds of staying in the United States, and the prosecution has been pressured to return home through measures such as invalidating his passport.

The investigative team of the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office, which was waiting at the airport, secured a new recruit with an arrest warrant as soon as Attorney Nam got off the plane on the same day and transferred him to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office.

At about 5:44, lawyer Nam, who appeared at the arrival gate with the prosecutor's staff, answered "I'm sorry" and "I don't know" to various questions from reporters, and then got on the convoy.

Attorney Nam is considered one of the 'Daejang-dong Four' along with accountant Jeong Young-hak, owner of Cheonhwa-dongin No.

In 2014, Seongnam Mayor Lee Jae-myung changed the Daejang-dong project to a public-private joint development and participated in the project with Mr. Kim, and it is known that he received a dividend of KRW 170 million through Cheonhwa-dongin No.

The prosecution plans to check the facts of the entire Daejang-dong development process through an intensive investigation of Attorney Nam, and request an arrest warrant.
