Lawmaker Joo, who was a judge and served five terms in Suseong-gu, Daegu, a conservative garden, is counted as one of the representative figures in the conservative camp who served as special minister, special adviser for political affairs to the president, chair of the policy committee, and floor leader.

Rep. Joo strongly criticized the current government, saying, "The five years of President Moon Jae-in and the Democratic Party's administration were a disaster for the Republic of Korea and the people, and there is no need to even mention their acts of destroying the rule of law, anger and violence."

Then, targeting Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, he said, "I am the designer of the case of abusive mother-in-law, actress scandal, and Daejang-dong, which has become a battle of horses. .

"I am convinced that the most successful candidate for our people who will surely achieve a regime change by stopping candidate Lee Jae-myung is Candidate Yoon," said Assemblyman Joo. "He said.

On the other hand, former President Yoon said about the fact that former Auditor General Choi Jae-hyung joined the party's rival, Hong Jun-pyo, in the camp, "I think everyone is a one-team no matter where they support in the primary because they will all meet in the finals anyway."
