In the evening, when a group of people walked from the right bank of Beishi River to the "Comb Dam" and crossed the Beishi River, the 7 people walking in the middle were unfortunately washed away by the torrent, and 13 people in the rear stayed on the right bank for assistance.

On the 16th, a missing girl has been found, and 13 people waiting for rescue have also been rescued.

After an overnight search by rescuers, as of the afternoon of the 17th, the remains of 2 adults and 2 children had been found, and there are still 2 children not found.

  According to reports, Hawbaotan is the source of the northern tributary of the Beishi River. It is surrounded by two mountains that resemble tigers and clouded leopards, so it is called Hawbaotan and has the reputation of "Little Jiuzhaigou in Northern Taiwan".

However, the local weather is unpredictable. If there are thunderstorms in the afternoon, the stream can easily skyrocket, and locals seldom go there in the afternoon.

  On the afternoon of the 17th, the police brought the teacher named Su who was in charge of the team back to the police station for investigation and clarified the situation and responsibilities of the incident.
