run over by a vehicle that lost control
in the municipality of
Torrevieja

Alicante
).
The driver, who

The accident
occurred at around 04:00
this Sunday in the
leisure area of the Marina Salinas marina
.
Apparently, the driver was
leaving a leisure area, lost control of the vehicle and invaded the opposite lane
, running over several people who were on the sidewalk, according to sources familiar with the event, reports Efe.
The
injured are young people in their 30s
, according to these sources.
Two of the victims have suffered serious injuries and remain admitted to the hospital, while the other two have injuries that are less serious.
The driver of the vehicle tested positive in the breathalyzer tests, as reported by municipal sources.
