Mattias Winsa has lost almost all of his vision and is recovering with the help of his white cane and the two percent vision he has left.

One evening when he was about to cross the railway at Västra station, the accident occurred and Mattias landed on the track - all by himself and without knowing how long it took before a train would pass.
