According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft successfully completed its orbital status setting after it entered orbit. At 6:56 on October 16, 2021, Beijing time, it successfully docked in the sky by adopting the autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode. The radial port of the core cabin and the previously docked Tianzhou-2 and Tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft form a four-chamber (ship) combination. The entire rendezvous and docking process lasts about 6.5 hours.
According to the mission implementation plan, three astronauts will then enter the Tianhe core module from the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft.
