After our report that the Democratic Party promised the victims of the sexual harassment case of former Busan Mayor Oh Keo-don and that most of them did not keep the promises of measures to prevent secondary harm, the Democratic Party issued a disciplinary opinion for the first time against an incumbent lawmaker.

The Democratic Party petitioned the Party Ethics Tribunal for disciplinary action, claiming that Party member Doo-gwan Kim had a side of secondary harm to the victim of the Mayor incident.

Rep. Kim argued for the Democratic Party's nomination of candidates ahead of the Busan mayor's by-election in April last year and posted an article on social media that said sexual offenses are personal deviations.
