Compulsory green pass, + 22.6% sickness certificates

Sickness certificates jump on the first day of application of the Green pass. At the end of the day, INPS recorded an increase of 17,340 sick workers compared to the previous Friday, with a jump of 22.6%. In total, 94,191 workers reported their illness, compared to 76,851 on the previous Friday. The increase was below average, but still high, among public workers (+ 18.3%), surpassed by 'protected private' workers (+ 21.1%). The increase however stopped at 10.5%, for workers classified by INPS as unprotected who by law do not receive sick pay.
