On October 14, the University Student Small Satellite-2A (SSS-2A for short), independently developed by Shanghai Jiaotong University, was successfully launched into orbit at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center with the Long March-2 D-type rocket.
It weighs only 3.7 kilograms, and 80% of the stand-alone machines are independently developed by students; the whole-satellite design breaks through the energy limitation of Cubestar, and the reliability of the satellite is significantly improved; it can not only automatically identify the information of ships on the water in space, but also carry out inter-satellite self-organized communication in space New technology verification-This is the first satellite of Shanghai Jiaotong University independently developed by students and leading the payload design.
